We at Fridge-to-Fork (together with our affiliates, “Fridge-to-Fork,” “Harmonia Ventures,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information we collect from or about you. This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to Personal Information we collect when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
U.S.-only: Fridge-to-Fork is operated by Harmonia Ventures LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and the Services are intended for use only in the United States.
1. Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information relating to you (“Personal Information”) as follows:
A. Personal Information You Provide
Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect information associated with your account, including your name, email address, and account credentials (collectively, “Account Information”).
Content (Recipes, Meal Plans, and Similar): When you use the Services, we collect information and content you submit, upload, import, create, store, save, organize, or otherwise provide through the Services (“Content”). Content may include recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, pantry/fridge inventories, dietary preferences, notes, photos, links, tags, collections, and related metadata.
Public Posts and Sharing: If you choose to publish or share Content publicly (or with other users), we collect and display that Content and associated information (such as your display name or profile information, depending on your settings). You can control whether you share publicly through in-app controls, where available.
Communication Information: If you communicate with us, we collect your name, contact information, and the contents of any messages you send (“Communication Information”).
Social Media Information: We may maintain pages on social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn). When you interact with those pages, we may collect information you choose to provide (“Social Information”). Social media platforms may also provide us with aggregate analytics.
No in-app purchases / subscriptions (currently): Fridge-to-Fork does not currently offer subscriptions or in-app purchases, so we do not collect payment card information for purchases through the Services.
B. Personal Information We Receive from Third Parties
Sign-In Providers (Apple / Google): If you choose to sign in using Apple or Google, we receive information from the sign-in provider such as a unique identifier associated with your account and, depending on your settings and the provider’s options, your name and email address (including a relay email if you use “Hide My Email”). We use this information to create and authenticate your account and to provide the Services.
Third-Party Integrations (if enabled): If you connect other third-party services (where offered), we may receive information from those services as authorized by you and described at the time you connect the integration.
C. Personal Information We Receive Automatically
When you visit, use, or interact with the Services, we may automatically receive certain information about your device and usage (“Technical Information”):
Log Data: Information your browser or device sends when you use our Services, such as IP address, browser type/settings, device information, date/time of requests, and interactions with pages or features.
Usage Data: Information about how you use the Services, such as features used, screens viewed, actions taken, time zone, country (or approximate location derived from IP), dates/times of access, and interactions with Content (e.g., saves, edits, imports, scans, and shares).
Device Information: Device type, operating system, device identifiers (such as advertising identifiers where enabled), and browser/app version. The specific data depends on device settings and permissions.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate and administer the Services and improve user experience. Analytics and Crash/Performance Tools: We may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand usage, improve performance, and troubleshoot issues.
D. Camera, Photos, Barcode Scanning, and Receipt Scanning
Camera and Photos Permissions: If you enable camera access or photo library access, we may collect images you capture or upload (for example, to attach photos to recipes or to scan barcodes/receipts). You can generally manage these permissions in your device settings.
Barcode Scanning: If you use barcode scanning features, we may collect barcode data (e.g., UPC/EAN) and related context you provide (e.g., product quantity, notes), and we may use third-party databases or service providers to help interpret barcode data.
Receipt Scanning: If you use receipt scanning features, we may collect the receipt image and extract information from it (such as merchant name, items, quantities, and prices) to help you build grocery lists, update pantry/fridge inventory, and support meal planning. Extraction may involve automated processing and service providers that help us perform text recognition and data parsing. You can choose whether to use these features.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We may use Personal Information for the following purposes:
Provide and operate the Services (including creating and managing accounts, authenticating logins, storing Content, enabling recipe saving, meal planning, grocery list creation, barcode/receipt scanning, and public sharing features);
Maintain, secure, and improve the Services (including debugging, performance monitoring, quality assurance, and developing new features);
Personalize your experience (including surfacing relevant recipes, meal planning suggestions, and organizational features based on your settings and usage);
Communicate with you (including responding to support requests and sending service-related notices);
Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents and protect the integrity of our systems and users;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, and rights; and
Carry out business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets).
Aggregated or De-Identified Information
We may aggregate or de-identify Personal Information so it can no longer reasonably identify you. We may use such information to analyze effectiveness, improve features, conduct research, and publish or share general user statistics. We maintain and use de-identified information in de-identified form and do not attempt to reidentify it, except as required by law.
Content Use for Product Improvement
We may use Content and usage signals to operate, maintain, and improve the Services (for example, to improve recipe organization, meal planning workflows, scanning accuracy, search and discovery, and feature performance). If you do not want your Content processed for these purposes, do not use the Services.
3. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose Personal Information to third parties without further notice to you (unless required by law) in the following circumstances:
Vendors and Service Providers: We may share Personal Information with vendors and service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, cloud services, databases, analytics, customer support tooling, email delivery, scanning/recognition providers for receipts or images, product data providers for barcodes, and security monitoring). These parties process Personal Information only as necessary to perform services for us and consistent with our instructions.
Other Users / Public (When You Share): If you choose to share Content publicly or with other users, we will disclose that Content and associated information according to your sharing settings and the nature of the feature. Please use caution when sharing Content publicly.
Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, or sale/transfer of assets (“Transaction”), your information may be disclosed during due diligence and transferred as part of that Transaction.
Legal Requirements and Safety: We may share Personal Information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (i) comply with law or legal process; (ii) protect and defend our rights or property; (iii) enforce our terms and policies; (iv) detect, prevent, or address fraud or security issues; (v) protect the safety, security, and integrity of our Services, employees, users, or the public; or (vi) protect against legal liability.
Affiliates: We may disclose Personal Information to our affiliates (entities under common control with Harmonia Ventures LLC) consistent with this Privacy Policy.
4. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have rights regarding your Personal Information, such as:

Delete your Personal Information;
Correct or update your Personal Information;
Obtain a copy of your Personal Information (data portability, where applicable);
Restrict or object to certain processing; and

Account and feature controls: You can often control sharing settings (e.g., whether recipes are published publicly), and you can manage device permissions (camera/photos/location) via your device settings.
5. Additional U.S. State Disclosures
This section provides additional information for residents of certain U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (including California). This information supplements the rest of the Policy.
Categories of Personal Information Collected and Disclosed
We may collect and disclose the following categories of Personal Information (as defined by applicable law), depending on how you use the Services:
Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, unique identifiers from Apple/Google sign-in, IP address, device identifiers) — disclosed to service providers, affiliates, legal authorities, and parties to Transactions.
Internet/Network Activity Information (e.g., interactions with the Services, feature usage, scanning activity, approximate location derived from IP) — disclosed to service providers, affiliates, legal authorities, and parties to Transactions.
Geolocation Data (e.g., approximate location derived from IP; precise location only if you enable location permissions and we offer location-based features) — disclosed to service providers, affiliates, legal authorities, and parties to Transactions.
User Content / Profile Data (e.g., recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, pantry/fridge inventory, preferences, notes, photos, receipt images and extracted receipt fields, and related metadata) — disclosed to service providers and affiliates; may also be disclosed to other users or the public if you choose to publish/share Content; and disclosed to legal authorities/Transaction parties as described above.
No “Sale” or “Sharing” for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising
We do not “sell” Personal Information or “share” Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under certain state laws.
Exercising Privacy Rights

. We may require identity verification and, where required, proof of residency. You will not be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Authorized Agents (Where Applicable)

6. Children
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided Personal Information to us, please contact support@fridge-to-fork.com

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (“Third Party Sites”). Your interactions with Third Party Sites are governed by their privacy policies and terms, not this Privacy Policy. We do not control and are not responsible for Third Party Sites.
8. Security and Retention
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes (such as security, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, and compliance with legal obligations). Retention periods depend on the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is processed. For example, we may retain receipt scan results or recipe history to provide continuity of your meal planning experience, unless you delete it or delete your account.
9. International Users
The Services are intended only for use in the United States. If you use the Services, you understand that your Personal Information will be processed and stored in the United States and may be disclosed to service providers in other jurisdictions consistent with this Policy.
